There is something I find very attractive about a man who can laugh at his own mistakes. Imagine ordering something at a restaurant because the name sounds delicious, only to discover that you have absolutely no idea what is on your plate. Would you confidently pretend that everything is wonderful, or would you look at me and admit that we have made a terrible culinary decision? I would probably start laughing before you finished your sentence. I love those unexpected moments when everything goes a little differently than planned. They often become the stories we remember the longest. Of course, I have my serious side too. When something matters to me, I can be surprisingly determined. But I don't want every conversation to feel like an important meeting. Sometimes I simply want to be silly, exchange funny observations and enjoy someone's company. As a single woman, I decided to give online dating a chance because I am curious about the people I might otherwise never meet. A dating site can introduce two strangers, but I think a shared sense of humor is what can make them want to continue talking. I am especially drawn to men who are confident without being arrogant, attentive without making a performance of it and comfortable enough with themselves to admit when something goes wrong.
